Often praised for her stunning beauty and charming humor, Stephanie Ortiz is successfully carving a multifaceted career that promises to leave a permanent mark in the industry. Hailing from Washington Heights, Ortiz is the current dynamic radio personality, Dulce, on NYC’s La Kalle 105.9 FM. Discovering her natural talent at a young age, Ortiz often starred in school plays and local performance events. Her passion and natural ability in the performing arts soon led her to an exciting career in front of the camera. At the age of 15, Ortiz began modeling while also working on crafting her acting skills. Her determination and hard work eventually paid off, and at the age of 20 she landed a spot on Mun 2 as a co-host on the popular television program, "The Roof."

As her unforgettable smile and funny personality graced television screens nationwide, Ortiz was honing her craft as an entertainment reporter. She interviewed an array of successful celebrities and musicians and was soon asked to star in the Sí TV production, “Styleyes.” As these television opportunities highlighted her improvisational skills, industry makers quickly started to take notice. In 2003, she was contacted by J-Love to join DJ Clark Kent, Fonzworth Bently, and Andre Harell, as a comedic relief for a morning show pilot on NYC’s Hot 97 FM. Although the show never made it on-air, this sparked Ortiz’s interest in radio. Owning a resume pouring with media experience, Ortiz was soon offered the amazing opportunity to join La Kalle 105.9 FM radio team. Now dominating the airwaves with her humorous personality, Ortiz plans to develop her career as a sketch comedic. Looking at Jim Carrey for inspiration, Ortiz looks at the road to success with simplicity and confidence.
